Topical antioxidants are important to bolster the defences of your skin against free radicals. Free radicals are usually a result of UV rays creating unstable oxygen molecules and are known scientifically as Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS). Your body has natural antioxidant (think anti free radical) defences that it creates everyday, plus every fruit and vegetable contains antioxidants that also help your body fight the constant battle with free radicals. It is important to add antioxidants topically to supplement those we consume in food.

Starting young is a very good idea. No one antioxidant ingredient can do the job alone (contrary to so much of the marketing hype from cosmetic companies) so the more fruits and vegetables you consume, and the more antioxidants you apply topically, the better off you will be. Apart from the antioxidants this product also keeps the skin hydrated, and the Thermus Thermophillis Ferment helps cell repair. I have never had anyone say they reacted badly to this product - but that is not to say it is impossible... It is ideal for skin that tends to be oily, but it can be used on less oily skin where moisturizer will be applied over the Antioxidant Serum.

This antioxidant serum is a blend of vitamins and botanical extracts essential to help the body produce collagen as well as quench free radicals. It will also rehydrate the skin to minimize and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
