Hyaluronic acid is a natural moisturizing element found in all of us. Its major benefit is that 1 molecule of hyaluronic will bind up to 1000 molecules of water to itself. This is good because we lose water through the skin day and night. Hyaluronic is also found in our joints, eyes and many other organs of the body. Rehydrating yourself with water is always a good idea to have a healthy skin and body. Unfortunately we produce less and less hyaluronic as we age. Applying a concentrated and fractionalized hyaluronic to the skin will definitely provide 'youthful' benefits. Unfortunately it also gets broken down by enzymes in the skin so application of hyaluronic acid serums twice a day will be best.

This is my most favourite hydrating gel for all skin types - especially for acne and rosacea skin because it stimulates the repair and strengthening of the skin so reducing the potential for scaring and pitting. I have yet to find anyone who adversely reacts to this product. By the way, most Restylane type injectable fillers that you get at the dermatologist office are based on hyaluronic acid.
